About Stratford Renaissance Partnership

Presenting Stratford to the world

SRP was established as not for profit company in January 2007 by a group of organisations with a major stake in the regeneration of Stratford.  As Stratford’s transformation proceeds at an accelerating pace, SRP has set five key objectives:

Introduce Stratford to the world
To tell Stratford’s story to the wider world: promoting its uniqueness, its heritage, its people, its role in London and the opportunities coming on stream through re-development.

Promote Stratford’s economic profile
To work with partners to define, develop and promote Stratford's economic role and its potential as the key driver for the economic growth of Newham and east London.

Support the transformation of the town centre
To support the creation of an exceptionally well-connected, beautifully-presented, excellently-managed and serviced town centre to attract and retain customers, visitors and businesses.

Support educational and cultural initiatives
To support the growth of Stratford's cultural and educational projects, initiatives, and facilities and to create a lasting cultural and educational legacy for the area.

Act as a focus for information on the area
To be the first port of call for anyone seeking facts, figures, news and information on all aspects of the latest developments in and around Stratford.
