Learning in Stratford

A thoroughly modern education

From primary schools to colleges to universities, there are a huge range of options for learning in Stratford.

Stratford’s educational institutions already cater to a diverse range of learners and there are many more opportunities on their way, including the £35million Chobham Academy in the Athlete’s Village and the £33m University Square Stratford in the town centre, both of which will open their doors in 2013.  Many of the new residential developments are making specific provision for anticipated increases in primary and secondary school numbers, so Stratford will soon boast some of the best new educational facilities for children and young people anywhere in the capital.

And with both the University of East London and Birkbeck, University of London having firm bases in Stratford, there’s already a large and lively student community which injects real energy into the area’s strong social and cultural identity.

Learn about Stratford today, and if you like what you see, you might well find yourself learning in Stratford tomorrow, in some of the most modern schools, universities and colleges in the country.
